Life can feel different after a brain injury. Cognitive rehabilitation should help you get more of it back.

Welcome to Lumina Neurocognition, a body based approach to cognitive rehabilitation for people recovering from brain injury.

If you're struggling with memory, focus, communication, mental fatigue, overwhelm, or simply not feeling like yourself, you're not experiencing these changes in isolation. Your brain, body, and nervous system are deeply connected.

At Lumina, we work with that connection. By helping you understand and work with your physiology, we create better conditions for your brain to function, then build on those changes to support your cognitive recovery.

The goal is bigger than managing symptoms.

It's getting back to work, relationships, independence, creativity, connection, and the parts of life that make you feel like you.

For more than a decade, I've helped people navigate cognitive changes after brain injury and discover new possibilities for how they think, connect, and live.

My approach is grounded in a simple idea: your brain is part of your body.

When your nervous system is under strain, it can be harder to focus, remember, communicate, and access the cognitive abilities you rely on. That's why I use Somatic Experiencing, a body based approach to working with the nervous system, as a foundation for cognitive rehabilitation.

By helping your brain and body become more regulated and available, we create space for greater clarity, capacity, confidence, and connection, then build on those shifts to support your cognitive goals.

Because meaningful recovery is about more than improving cognitive skills.

It's about having more of yourself available to connect, engage, and fully live your life.

The Lumina Approach

Think better. Feel more. Live fully.

What becomes possible when cognitive rehabilitation after brain injury works with your brain and your body?

At Lumina, we begin with the whole system. Through body based practices, we help create the conditions for your nervous system to become more regulated and your cognitive abilities more available.

As your system shifts, attention, memory, communication, processing, and executive function may become easier to access. From there, we build on what's changing with personalized cognitive strategies and support.

You learn how to work with your brain and body, building greater clarity, confidence, capacity, and energy for everyday life.

Because recovery after brain injury is about more than functioning better.

It's about reconnecting with yourself, returning to what matters, and reclaiming more of your life.

Signature Program

12 weeks to build capacity and reclaim more of your life after brain injury.

If brain injury has changed how you think, communicate, work, connect, or feel like yourself, this personalized program is designed for you.

We work with your brain, body, and nervous system as a connected whole, using body based practices to support regulation and create better conditions for cognitive function.

As your system becomes more available, we build on those shifts, fine tuning attention, memory, executive function, processing, and communication to support the demands of your everyday life.

Along the way, you'll learn what helps you feel clearer, steadier, and more capable, building confidence in yourself and greater capacity for what matters.

Because recovery after brain injury is about more than managing symptoms.

Energy. Connection. Pleasure. Creativity. Meaning. Vitality.
